El pasado viernes 13 durante el I Simposium Felipe Segovia los alumnos residentes David López y Daniel Fidalgo, junto con el docente Jorge Moreno recibieron el premio de Mejor Innovación y Práctica Educativa del Año por su iniciativa «Club de Jóvenes Programadores».
Este club fomenta el aprendizaje de la programación de forma colectiva y autodidacta, siendo los alumnos quienes deciden lo que les interesa aprender.
David y Daniel se encargan de coordinar las actividades del Club y los procesos de aprendizaje, mientras que Jorge se encarga de la comunicación entre el colegio y las necesidades del Club, para el correcto funcionamiento de la actividad.
Nuestras felicitaciones a todas las partes involucradas y no tenemos dudas que más éxitos llegarán producto de su gran trabajo.

Last Friday 13th during the I Simposium Felipe Segovia the Resident Students David Lopez and Daniel Fidalgo in conjunction with their teacher Jorge Moreno were awarded with the Prize “Mejor Innovación y Práctica Educativa del Año” for their work on “Club de Jóvenes Programadores”.
This Club encourages and promotes self and collaborative learning in computer`s programing, were the students are the ones that decided what they are interested in learning.
David and Daniel take responsibility for the coordination of the Club activities and the learning process, while Jorge is the facilitator between the Club needs, School and companies to ensure the success of this project.
Our congratulations to all parts involved and we are sure that more success will come out as a result of their great work.

Acabamos de celebrar el Día SEK 2015. Un día en el que además de entregarse los XX Premios Institución SEK a la Innovación y a las Mejores prácticas educativas, se celebró el I Simposium Felipe Segovia, organizado por la Fundación Felipe Segovia.

A lo largo de todo el día se han realizado diferentes actos en el que se ha compartido y premiado el talento de nuestros compañeros en diferentes apartados y niveles educativos, tanto de los Colegios SEK como de la Universidad Camilo José Cela.

Por la tarde, el equipo educativo de la Residencia pudimos vivir con emoción como se premiaba a tres de nuestros compañeros. El primero fue D. Pablo Rubiales, quien recibió el reconocimiento por sus 25 años de dedicación a esta Institución.
Luego llegó el reconocimiento a quienes comienzan una nueva etapa de su vida:
D. Francisco Velasco, educador de la residencia, se ha jubilado tras un intachable paso por la Institución, en el que ha demostrado sus excelentes cualidades profesionales y sobre todo humanas.
D. Jaime Gude, quien durante más de 30 años ha desarrollado un papel determinante como Director de la Residencia, lugar particularmente exigente dentro del Colegio. El espontáneo y gran aplauso que recibió D. Jaime cuando fue llamado a recibir su reconocimiento, describe y resume la valoración de toda la comunidad educativa por la huella dejada en esta Institución. Personalmente, tengo el privilegio de que aún este junto a nosotros durante este último año de su proceso de prejubilación.

Desde estas páginas mi más sincera enhorabuena y la de todo el equipo educativo de nuestras Residencias.

We have just finished celebrating the SEK DAY 2015. A day in which we give out the XX prizes of the institution SEK to the most innovative and the best educational systems, celebrated at I Simposium Felipe Segovia, organized by the organization Felipe Segovia. Throughout the day there have been various acts through which our participators have shared and later been prized on their acts, all within different levels and sections of education, both at the SEK institute and at the University Camilo José Cela.

During the afternoon the Residence Staff team were able to feel pride as three of our coworkers were awarded prizes. The first being D. Pablo Rubiales, who received recognition for 25 dedicated year working at the institute.
Then came the recognition of those that have passed on to another step in life:
D. Francisco Velasco, educator at the residence, who had retired after an impressive resume throughout his career at the institute, in which he demonstrated his professional and human qualities.
D. Jaime Gude, who for more than 30 years created a important role as the director of the residence, later particularly exigent inside of the school. The spontaneous and large applause he received from the whole educative community serves as a indication of the impact he had on this institution.
Personally, i have the privilege that he is still with us for the rest of his last year during the completion of his retirement process.

From here i give my most sincere congratulation and that of all of the educative team of our residences.
