Cada año, el 21 de marzo, la UNESCO celebra el Día Mundial de la Poesía. Con motivo de tal celebración el Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia ha estado trabajando en su taller sobre la poesía. Estuvimos dialogando sobre las características del verso libre, la metáfora y la personificación de los objetos… El proceso fue el siguiente: Se elegía un tema y cada alumno iba creando un verso que se sumaba al anterior: El objetivo era crear poemas de autoría colectiva. El resultado fueron estos 3 poemas que os dejo a continuación y con los que invitamos a todos a celebrar este día disfrutando de la belleza de las palabras.
Every year on March 21, UNESCO celebrates World Poetry Day. On the occasion of this celebration, the Residencia Theater Group has been working on its workshop on poetry. We were talking about the characteristics of free verse, metaphor and the personification of objects … The process was as follows: A theme was chosen and each student was creating a verse that was added to the previous one: The objective was to create poems of collective authorship. The result was these 3 poems that I leave you below and with which we invite everyone to celebrate this day enjoying the beauty of words.
EL HAMBRE
La hambruna grita al mundo. El frío grita a los sintecho. Calles sucias, ojos que hablan a Dios. Una niña corre sobre sus sueños, trata de escaparse, busca la esperanza… Nadie la escucha.
TEATRO
A veces llueve con actores felices. Calles vacías con teatros llenos, focos incandescentes… Se abre el telón. Magia expandida. Escenas de la vida. La cuarta pared observa. Aplausos. La lluvia termina.
PRIMAVERA
Las flores crecen. La gente está alegre. Vuela el polen, vuelan las mariposas. Los parques cantan. Los árboles se disfrazan. La lluvia está ausente. El sol te sonríe. Los zapatos te bailan. Vuelan los abrigos. Sí, la primavera ya está aquí.

El escritor inglés de origen japonés Kazuo Ishiguro ha sido el ganador del Nobel de Literatura 2017. En palabras de la Academia de los Premios Nobel: “Ishiguro ha descubierto el abismo bajo nuestro ilusorio sentido de conexión con el mundo a través de novelas de gran fuerza emocional.”
Varias de sus novelas han sido adaptadas al cine, destacando “Lo que queda del día” protagonizada por una soberbia interpretación de Anthony Hopkins. Película que obtuvo un gran éxito de crítica y público.

La periodista y novelista Svetlana Alexiévich, de nacionalidad bielorrusa, gana el Premio Nobel de Literatura 2015. Su elección implica premiar, por primera vez, el reportaje periodístico, género de gran parte de su obra.
Sus novelas siempre tienen como narrador al hombre corriente, que ella considera «el grano de arena en la Historia. Aquel a quien nunca se pregunta, ese que desaparece sin dejar rastro, llevándose sus secretos a la tumba”. La periodista dice que habla “de aquellos que no tienen voz”: “Los oigo, los escucho, los comprendo. La calle es para mí un coro, una sinfonía. Ejemplo de ello, la novela Voces de Chernobil, para la que estuvo durante 20 años recogiendo testimonios de quienes vivieron aquel, por desgracia, famoso desastre nuclear.
