615. Cena Fin de Curso de la Residencia

El próximo miércoles, 31 de Mayo, celebraremos el inminente fin de curso con los alumnos de la Residencia. Aunque el curso no acaba oficialmente hasta el 23 de Junio, solemos adelantar esta celebración para que nuestros alumnos residentes de 2º Bachillerato puedan disfrutarla antes de enfrentarse a sus exámenes de la P.A.U.
A partir de las 20:30 celebraremos nuestra tradicional Cena de Convivencia en la que alumnos, profesores y educadores compartiremos la satisfacción de haber llegado a la meta. Tras la cena habrá varias sorpresas… además de la esperada película que proyectará el Grupo de Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo. Este año os presentamos la película titulada: SIETE. Una película formada por la suma de 7 sketches o 7 cortos o 7 historias rodadas en 7 géneros cinematográficos diferentes, pero con un mismo elemento en común: la ilusión de compartir nuestro trabajo con todos vosotros.
A la espera de que podáis disfrutar de cada uno de los actos os citamos a todos para el próximo miércoles.

Next Wednesday, May 31st, we will celebrate the imminent end of course with the students of the Residence. Although the course does not officially end until June 23rd, we usually advance this celebration so that our 2nd-year high school students can enjoy it before facing their exams of the P.A.U.
From 20:30 we will celebrate our traditional Dinner of Coexistence in which students, teachers and educators will share the satisfaction of having reached their goal. After dinner there will be several surprises … in addition to the expected film that will be screened by the SEK-El Castillo Theater-Residence Group. This year we present the film titled: SEVEN. A film formed by the sum of 7 sketches or 7 short films or 7 stories shot in 7 different film genres, but with the same element in common: the illusion of sharing our work with all of you.
While hoping you will enjoy each of the events, we invite you all for next Wednesday.

614. Graduación 2º Bachillerato 2017

El pasado viernes, 19 de Mayo, tuvo lugar la Graduación de 2º de Bachillerato. Un emotivo acto donde alumnos, profesores, directores, familiares… se dieron cita para poner el broche de oro a la última etapa educativa antes de llegar a la Universidad.
La emoción de nuestros alumnos y alumnas de la Residencia, junto al resto de sus compañeros del colegio, era más que evidente.
Aprovecho esta nota para felicitar a nuestros alumnos residentes, a los del Bachillerato Internacional (IB) y a los del Nacional, por el estupendo trabajo realizado a lo largo del curso, trabajo que espero se refleje en los inminentes exámenes de la PAU así como en las notas que esperan nuestros alumnos de IB.
Enhorabuena a todos.

Last Friday, May 19th, took place the Graduation of 2º of Bachillerato. An emotional act where students, teachers, directors, family … got together to put the finishing touch to the last stage of education before going off to University.
The excitement of our resident students, along with the rest of their classmates, was more than evident.
I take this opportunity to congratulate our resident students, having done the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the National program, for the great work done throughout the course, work that I hope will be reflected in the imminent examinations of the PAU as well as in the grades awaiting our IB students.

613. Silencio… se rueda

Desde hace varias semanas, el Grupo de Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo se encuentra inmerso de lleno en la grabación de una serie de sketches que conformarán una película cómica. Una película que se estrenará en la cena de fin de curso que se celebrará próximamente. Silencio, se rueda…

Since a couple of weeks ago, our theatre group of the residence SEK-El Castillo found itself fully immersed in the recording of a series of sketches that would make up a comedy movie. This movie would premiere at the end of year dinner that will be held soon.

610. Hoy se celebra el Día Mundial contra el Bullying.

Hoy 2 de mayo se celebra el Día Internacional contra el bullying.
Os invito a todos a que uséis vuestras redes sociales, con el hashtag #DíaMundialContraElBullying, para poner vuestro granito de arena en la lucha contra el acoso escolar. Acoso que más temprano que tarde conseguiremos erradicar gracias a la colaboración de toda la comunidad educativa: alumnos, profesores y padres.
