El pasado sábado un buen grupo de alumnos residentes pudieron disfrutar de un soleado día en el Parque de Atracciones. Parque que ya está decorado con muchas animaciones para el próximo Halloween.

El pasado lunes arrancó la nueva temporada del Grupo: Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo. Una primera semana en la que los antiguos alumnos del grupo recibieron a los muchos nuevos que se han incorporado este año.
Ya hemos empezado a trabajar para que esta nueva temporada de teatro siga dando tan buenos resultados como las anteriores.

Last monday we started up the first classes of the Theater-Residence SEK-El Castillo Group. A first week in which the members of the group warmly received the many new ones that have been incorporated this year.

Por quinto año consecutivo se pone en marcha el Taller de Cocina. Taller que dirige la educadora Isabel. Hoy, primer día de contacto para hacer unas pequeñas compras en el supermercado. La próxima semana ya empezarán con los postres de cada semana.

For the fifth consecutive year the Cooking Workshop is launched. Workshop led by educator Isabel. Today, the first day of contact to make some small purchases in the supermarket. Next week they will start with desserts each week.

Los Alumnos Residentes que pasan el fin de semana en la Residencia no solo estudian, también tienen tiempo de salir y disfrutar de diferentes Actividades. El pasado fin de semana nuestros alumnos pudieron seguir conociéndose y divirtiéndose, pasando una estupenda tarde en la bolera del centro comercial Equinoccio, situado en Majadahonda. Muy cerca de nuestra Residencia.

Resident Students who spend the weekend at the Residence not only study, they also have time to go out and enjoy different Activities. Last weekend our students were able to continue meeting and having fun, having a great afternoon in the bowling alley of the Equinoccio shopping center, located in Majadahonda. Very close to our Residence.

La Residencia Internacional SEK-El Castillo pone a disposición de nuestros alumnos residentes un paquete de Actividades Extraescolares para que ellos, asesorados por sus familias, elijan las que le resulten más interesantes.
Los educadores de la Residencia llevaremos a cabo una serie de actividades que no les supone ningún tipo de coste adicional. Destacamos: Taller de Teatro, Taller de cocina, Cine-fórum, Taller de ajedrez… más otras que nuestros propios alumnos irán sugiriendo.
Para apuntarse a las actividades deportivas de la UCJC Sports Club, las familias deberán rellenar el folleto de inscripción y mandarlo a la secretaría del Colegio. A continuación les dejo enlace donde aparecen las actividades, horarios, precios y formularios para rellenar:
ACTIVIDADES EXTRAESCOLARES 2019-2020
The International Residence SEK-El Castillo offers our resident students a variety of extracurricular activities so that they, advised by their families, choose the ones that are most interesting to them.
The educators of the Residence will carry out a series of activities that do not involve any additional cost. We offer:
Theater Workshop, Cooking Workshop, Film-forum, Chess workshop… plus others that our own students will be suggesting.
To sign up for the UCJC Sports Club’s sports activities, families must complete the enrollment booklet and send it to the school’s secretary. I leave you all the links with activities, schedules, prices and forms to fill.

Durante los primeros días del curso estamos llevando a cabo una serie de Dinámicas de Grupo para que nuestros alumnos se conozcan y establezcan unas buenas relaciones de amistad y convivencia.
También se les está informando de las actividades e instalaciones de las que disponen para cumplimentar su currículo.
Poco a poco nos vamos conociendo y formando una estupenda segunda familia. Seguimos.

Hoy, 8 de septiembre de 2019, nuestros alumnos se incorporan a la Residencia para iniciar desde mañana el curso 2019-2020. Se vuelven a abrir las puertas de vuestra Residencia, la que será vuestro 2º hogar durante un largo periodo de 10 meses. Un hogar donde convivir con alumnos de diferentes nacionalidades suponga un gran paso a la hora de desarrollar una mentalidad abierta al mundo. Agradeciendo a las familias la confianza depositada en todo el equipo educativo de la Residencia les doy mi más afectiva bienvenida a todos. Comenzamos.
