Y llegó la gran noche. Ayer celebramos la Cena de Navidad de la Residencia Internacional SEK-El Castillo. Una cena donde Convivencia, Emoción y Teatro fueron indiscutibles protagonistas.
En primer lugar tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de una excelente cena que nos brindó “Catergest” a las más de 400 personas que nos reunimos en torno a la mesa: La Presidenta de la Institución Educativa SEK, el equipo directivo, tanto del colegio como de la residencia, nuestros alumnos residentes, sus familiares, profesores, educadores e invitados especiales, lo que supuso que una muestra de la Comunidad Educativa SEK se diera cita en tan entrañable Cena.
Acabada la cena y tras las felicitaciones previstas, llegó la emoción de la mano de un grupo de antiguos alumnos residentes que, con la complicidad de muchos, sorprendieron a D. Jaime no sólo presentándose en la cena sino también con un emotivo discurso plagado de anécdotas, donde resaltó lo importante que había sido para sus vidas, una vez pasados los años, la educación en valores a la que de forma tan directa había contribuido el homenajeado. Merecido homenaje de gratitud para quien, en pleno proceso de jubilación, organizó ayer la última Cena de Navidad después de 35 años haciéndolo.
Y por último, y eso ya no era sorpresa pero sí esperado, la emocionante actuación del Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia que por fin pudo mostrar sobre el escenario la calidad de su espectáculo, fruto del compromiso y trabajo que ha llevado a cabo durante las últimas semanas. “Todavía sin título” recibió en multitud de ocasiones el caluroso aplauso de sus compañeros, familias, profesores, directores…

Sin lugar a dudas una noche mágica que permanecerá en nuestra memoria para siempre. Gracias a todos los que han hecho posible cada uno de estos especiales momentos.

The big night arrived. Yesterday we celebrated the Christmas Dinner of the International Residence of SEK-El Castillo. A dinner where friendship, emotion and a theatre performance were protagonists.
First we had the opportunity to enjoy an excellent dinner that was given to us by «CATERGEST» to more than 400 people sitting around the tables. These people were: The President of the Educational Institution SEK, the management team of the school and the residence, our resident students, their families, teachers, educators and special guest, Which meant that all the Educational Community of SEK was given an endearing Supper.
After dinner and formal speeches, the excitement came from the hand of a group of former resident students who gave a surprise to Don Jaime at dinner but also gave an emotional speech riddled with anecdotes where they stressed how important it was for their lives to learn values and education from the honoree. This tribute of gratitude was very much deserved by a person who organized his last Christmas dinner while in the process of retirement, after 35 dedicated years of working at this institution.
And finally, as expected, the exciting performance of the theater group of the residence that was finally able to begin. On stage we could clearly see the quality of the performance and the result of commitment and work that had been carried out during the last weeks. «Still no title» the name of the play, received a warm applause from colleagues, families, teachers, directors …

No doubt that this magical night will remain in our memory forever. Thank you to all who have made possible each of these special moments.
