915. Cumpleaños de Septiembre 2021 y meses de verano

La Residencia Internacional Sek-El Castillo felicita a todos los Alumnos Residentes que han cumplido años a lo largo del mes de Septiembre 2021.
Por supuesto que también hemos celebrado los cumpleaños de los que cumplieron en los meses de verano, Julio y Agosto, y sentían nostalgia de sus compañeros de Residencia…

914. Disfrutando del Parque de Atracciones de Madrid

El pasado sábado un buen grupo de alumnos residentes pudieron disfrutar de un soleado día en el Parque de Atracciones. Parque que ya está decorado con muchas animaciones para el próximo Halloween.

Last Saturday a good group of resident students were able to enjoy a sunny day at the Amusement Park. Park that is already decorated with many animations for next Halloween.

913. Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo. Temporada 2021-2022

Esta semana comenzamos la nueva temporada del Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia.
Con todas las medidas de seguridad, que la situación actual aún requiere, iniciamos las clases de interpretación. Pronto llegarán los ensayos de la que será nuestra nueva obra de teatro. Aquí daremos buena cuenta de ello.
Bienvenidos a todos los que este año se han incorporado como nuevos alumnos a esta actividad que espero nos siga dando grandes momentos.
Empezamos.

This week we begin the new season of the Residencia Theater Group.
With all the security measures that the current situation still requires, we started the interpretation classes. Rehearsals for what will be our new play will be coming soon. Here we will give a good account of it.

912. Actividades Extraescolares 2021-2022

Con todas las medidas de seguridad, que los organismos nacionales e internacionales sugieren, la Residencia Internacional SEK-El Castillo pone a disposición de nuestros alumnos residentes un paquete de Actividades Extraescolares para que ellos, asesorados por sus familias, elijan las que le resulten más interesantes.
Para apuntarse a las actividades deportivas de la UCJC Sports Club, las familias deberán rellenar el folleto de inscripción y mandarlo a la secretaría del Colegio. A continuación, les dejo enlace donde aparece toda la información:

With all the security measures suggested by national and international organizations, the SEK-El Castillo International Residence offers our resident students a package of Extracurricular Activities so that they, advised by their families, choose the ones that are most interesting to them.
To sign up for UCJC Sports Club sports activities, families should fill out the registration brochure and send it to the school secretary. Here is a link where all the information appears:

911. Rascafría: un día de senderismo

Ayer nuestros alumnos residentes pudieron disfrutar de un día de senderismo por la zona de Rascafría, pequeño pueblo de la Sierra de Guadarrama asentado en el hermoso Valle del Lozoya, una de las joyas naturales de la región madrileña.
Estupenda ocasión para estar en contacto con la naturaleza.

Yesterday our resident students were able to enjoy a day of hiking in the Rascafría area, a small town in the Sierra de Guadarrama located in the beautiful Lozoya Valley, one of the natural jewels of the Madrid region.
Great opportunity to be in contact with nature.

909. Visitando el Madrid Monumental

Ayer, aprovechando que muchos de nuestros alumnos aún no han empezado sus clases, estuvimos visitando los sitios más emblemáticos de Madrid: Plaza España, Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Alcalá y el Parque del Retiro.
Un estupendo día por Madrid donde, aparte de disfrutar del Madrid monumental, alumnos de distintas procedencias pudieron empezar a conocerse.

Yesterday, taking advantage of the fact that many of our students have not yet started their classes, we were visiting the most emblematic places in Madrid: Plaza España, Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Alcalá and the Retiro Park.
A great day in Madrid where apart from enjoying the monumental Madrid, students from different origins were able to get to know each other.

908. Bienvenidos al curso 2021-2022

Hoy, 5 de septiembre de 2021, nuestros alumnos se incorporan a la Residencia para iniciar, de forma escalonada, a partir de mañana el curso 2021-2022. Se vuelven a abrir las puertas de vuestra Residencia, la que será vuestro 2º hogar durante un largo periodo de 10 meses. Un hogar donde convivir con alumnos de diferentes nacionalidades suponga un gran paso a la hora de desarrollar una mentalidad abierta al mundo.
Agradeciendo a las familias la confianza depositada en todo el equipo educativo de la Residencia les doy mi más afectiva bienvenida a todos. Comenzamos.

Today, September 5, 2021, our students join the Residence to start, in a staggered manner, the 2021-2022 academic year starting tomorrow. The doors of your Residence are reopened, which will be your 2nd home for a long period of 10 months. A home where living with students of different nationalities is a great step in developing an open mind to the world.
Thanking the families for the trust placed in the entire educational team of the Residence, I give my most affectionate welcome to all. We begin.

907. Abrimos Blog 2021-2022

1 de septiembre de 2021. Bienvenidos, otro curso más, al Blog de la Residencia Internacional SEK-El Castillo. A la espera de que en unos días se incorporen nuestros alumnos, empezamos con las primeras reuniones. Hoy os presentamos la nueva cabecera que ilustrará nuestro blog durante todo el curso. Aquí encontrarán toda la información acerca de las actividades que se lleven a cabo desde la Residencia.
