23 de Junio de 2021. Verano. Fin de curso.
Palabras por las que hemos estado trabajando durante 10 largos meses.
En primer lugar, hay que felicitar a cada uno de nuestros alumnos y alumnas residentes que han acabado de forma brillante su curso académico y a los pocos que aún le falta un poquito… desearles que el verano les sea lo suficientemente largo como para sacar tiempo y “rematar la faena” en próximas convocatorias.
Este curso toca dar las gracias a todos por vuestro Compromiso y Solidaridad. Sin duda este curso que hoy acaba pasará a la historia como el curso de las mascarillas, las distancias, los lavados frecuentes de mano. Todo un protocolo sanitario que tanto nuestros alumnos como educadores, profesores, directores… hemos seguido a rajatabla. Gracias al Compromiso y Solidaridad de todos hacia todos hemos conseguido protegernos unos a otros para acabar de forma exitosa un curso realizado en su integridad de forma presencial, incluso, como es el caso de nuestros residentes, viviendo bajo el mismo techo.
El próximo septiembre nos citaremos por aquí de nuevo, en nuestra Residencia y en nuestro Blog, lugares, físico y virtual, donde compartiremos cada una de las actividades que nos ayuden a seguir creciendo juntos como una gran familia que cree en la educación de los valores. Por supuesto que seguiremos protegiéndonos, llevando a cabo cada uno de los protocolos que la actual situación sanitaria dicte para septiembre.

June 23, 2021. Summer. End of course.
Words we have been working on for 10 long months.
First of all, we must congratulate each one of our resident students who have finished their academic year brilliantly and the few who still have a little bit left… to wish them that summer is long enough for them to make time and “ finish the job «in future calls.
This course we have to thank everyone for your Commitment and Solidarity. Undoubtedly this course that ends today will go down in history as the course of masks, distances, frequent hand washing. A whole health protocol that both our students and educators, teachers, principals … we have strictly followed. Thanks to the Commitment and Solidarity of everyone towards everyone, we have managed to protect each other to successfully complete a course carried out in its entirety in person, even, as is the case with our residents, living under the same roof.
Next September we will meet here again, in our Residence and in our Blog, places, physical and virtual, where we will share each of the activities that help us continue to grow together as a great family that believes in the education of values . Of course we will continue to protect ourselves, carrying out each of the protocols that the current health situation dictates for September.

Todos los estudiantes de 2º de Bachillerato del Colegio Internacional SEK El Castillo, incluyendo a nuestros alumnos residentes de ese curso, han aprobado la prueba de acceso a la universidad (EvAU) 2021. Ese 100% de aprobados es un orgullo para cada una de las personas que trabajamos en el Colegio y en la Residencia.
Gran noticia con la que solo cabe decir, en letras mayúsculas: ENHORABUENA.

All the 2nd year high school students of the SEK El Castillo International School, including our resident students of that course, have passed the 2021 university entrance exam (EvAU). That 100% pass is a source of pride for each of the people who work in the College and in the Residence.
Great news that can only be said, in capital letters: CONGRATULATIONS.

Este verano se celebran 3 grandes eventos deportivos que se deberían haber celebrado el verano del año pasado, pero que tuvieron que ser suspendidos por la pandemia global de la que poco a poco vamos saliendo.
Nuestro Colegio y Residencia, así como toda la Institución Educativa SEK, siempre apoyó el mundo del Fútbol, así como el movimiento Olímpico y su gran escala de valores.
Por eso os informamos de las fechas en las que se celebrará los 3 grandes eventos deportivos que ocuparán gran parte de este verano 2021:

Eurocopa 2020: Desde hoy 11 de Junio hasta el 11 de Julio.
Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020: del 23 de Julio al 8 de Agosto.
Juegos Paralímpicos de Tokio 2020: del 24 de Agosto al 5 de Septiembre.

Un verano deportivamente espectacular con el que podremos disfrutar de nuestros mejores deportistas en múltiples disciplinas.

This summer there are 3 major sporting events that should have been held in the summer of last year, but which had to be suspended due to the global pandemic from which we are gradually emerging.
Our School and Residence, as well as the entire SEK Educational Institution, always supported the world of Football, as well as the Olympic movement and its large scale of values.
That is why we inform you of the dates on which the 3 major sporting events that will occupy a large part of this summer 2021 will be held:

Euro 2020: From today June 11 to July 11.
Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: from July 23 to August 8.
Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games: from August 24 to September 5.

A spectacular sports summer with which we can enjoy our best athletes in multiple disciplines.

A partir del próximo lunes 7 de junio, nuestros alumnos residentes, junto a sus compañeros de clase y el resto de colegios de la Comunidad de Madrid, se enfrentan a los exámenes de la EvAU 2021, lo que antes se llamaba Selectividad.
Desde las páginas de este blog queremos desearle a todos mucha suerte. Seguro que la tendrán dado el último gran esfuerzo que están realizando.

Starting next Monday, June 7, our resident students, together with their classmates and the rest of the schools in the Community of Madrid, will face the EvAU 2021 exams, what was previously called Selectividad.
