Here I leave the photos of yesterday’s barbecue. A relaxed afternoon to enjoy the last hours of coexistence, before all our resident students return with their families to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.

Este curso escolar, los alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato han realizado su viaje de fin de curso al sur de la India. El objetivo principal de dicho viaje ha sido vivir una experiencia solidaria participando en un proyecto de equipamiento tecnológico en una de las escuelas de la región. Al mismo tiempo que han estado trabajando y colaborando en una plantación sostenible.
En esta iniciativa colabora AIPC Pandora, organización sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja mediante la metodología de “Global Service Learning”, en castellano “Aprendizaje y Servicio”, basada en la generación de proyectos que combinan el aprendizaje de contenidos, competencias y valores con la realización de tareas de voluntariado o servicio a la comunidad.
Sin duda una experiencia que nuestros alumnos residentes, junto al resto de sus compañeros de clase, no olvidarán en su vida y que les servirá para crecer en valores.

This course, the students of 1º de Bachillerato have done their end of year trip to South India. The main objective of this trip was to experience solidarity, participating in a project of technological equipment in one of the schools of the region. At the same time the have been collaborating in a sustainable plantation.
In this initiative collaborates AIPC Pandora, a non-profit organization, which works using the “Global Service Learning” methodology, in Spanish “Aprendizaje y Servicio”, based on the generation of projects, that combines the learning of contents, competences and values with the realization of voluntary work or community service.
Without any doubts an experience of our residents with the rest of theirs companions will not forget throughout their lives. This will help them to grow up with values.
