As we informed you in entries 1194 and 1195, we have just celebrated, today the 29th, our traditional Open Day with a sunny morning, where students, teachers and families have been able to enjoy a multitude of activities.

As we announced in the previous post, the Residencia Theater Group will be screening the comedy short film «Mundo Curioso.» This screening is one of the many activities taking place during the open house we’ll be holding this coming Saturday, March 29th.

El próximo sábado 29 de Marzo, el Colegio Internacional SEK- El Castillo abre sus puertas en la, ya tradicional, celebración de su Día Abierto llamado VIVE TU COLEGIO.
Una jornada de puertas abiertas en la que se comparten con todos los alumnos, familiares y amigos, diferentes actividades educativas, culturales y recreativas que se realizan en el colegio.
El Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia proyectará la película “Mundo Curioso”. Un cortometraje de sketches, donde el humor y la ironía son los protagonistas.
Con el deseo de que disfrutéis al máximo de nuestro Colegio, les esperamos.

Next Saturday, March 29th, SEK-El Castillo International School opens its doors for its traditional Open Day, called «Live Your School.»
An open day where students, families, and friends will be able to enjoy various educational, cultural, and recreational activities held at the school.

Como cada 8 de marzo, mañana se celebra el Día Internacional de La Mujer, también llamado Día Internacional de la Mujer trabajadora. Celebración Mundial reconocida por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, ONU. En este día se conmemora la lucha de la mujer por su participación, en igualdad con el hombre, en la sociedad y en su desarrollo íntegro como persona.
Desde este Blog, felicitamos a todas las mujeres (Directoras, Profesoras, Alumnas, Madres…) que conviven con nosotros en nuestra comunidad educativa.

As every March 8th, tomorrow is International Women’s Day, also called International Working Women’s Day. A worldwide celebration recognized by the United Nations, UN. This day commemorates women’s struggle for their participation, on an equal footing with men, in society and in their full development as a person.

Ayer, tal y como anunciamos en nuestra entrada número 1188, pudimos disfrutar del XV Festival Internacional de Magia que cada año celebra el teatro Circo Price. Sin duda fue una tarde espectacular donde magos y magas venidos de diferentes puntos del planeta nos hicieron disfrutar de una tarde absolutamente mágica.

Yesterday, as we announced in our entry number 1188, we were able to enjoy the XV International Magic Festival that the Circo Price theater celebrates every year. Without a doubt, it was a spectacular afternoon where magicians from different parts of the planet made us enjoy an absolutely magical afternoon.

XV Festival Internacional de Magia de Madrid.

Lugar: Teatro Circo Price. Madrid.
El mago español Jorge Blass dirige, por 15 años consecutivos, el Festival Internacional de Magia que se celebra en el Teatro Circo Price. Los mejores magos del mundo se dan cita en la ciudad de Madrid con la intención de dejarnos boquiabiertos. Ilusionistas de distintas nacionalidades y disciplinas aunarán fuerzas para crear un show espectacular. Otro año más nos disponemos a disfrutar de un festival literalmente mágico.

El pasado fin de semana, un pequeño grupo de alumnos residentes estuvieron disfrutando de una tarde de carreras de coches en uno de los mejores circuitos de karts indoor de Europa, situado en el Carlos Sainz Center de las Rozas.
Sin duda una tarde de auténtico disfrute.

Last weekend, a small group of resident students were enjoying an afternoon of car racing in one of the best indoor karting circuits in Europe, located at the Carlos Sainz Center in las Rozas.

El pasado sábado tocó visitar ÁVILA.
Otra de las preciosas ciudades españolas que tenemos cerca de Madrid. Nuestros alumnos pudieron disfrutar de la grandeza de su muralla, plazas, catedral, conventos… así como de las ricas yemas de Santa Teresa, dulce famoso en honor a la Santa que nació allí.

Last Saturday we visited ÁVILA.
Another of the beautiful Spanish cities that we have near Madrid. Our students were able to enjoy the grandeur of its wall, squares, cathedral, convents… as well as the delicious Santa Teresa egg yolks, a famous sweet in honour of the Saint who was born there.
