1200. ¡Feliz Día del Libro!

El Día Internacional del Libro es una conmemoración celebrada a nivel internacional, establecido por la UNESCO, celebrada cada 23 de abril desde 1996 en varios países, con el objetivo fundamental de fomentar la lectura.
La elección del día 23 de abril como fecha idónea para celebrar el Día Internacional del Libro, procede de la coincidencia del fallecimiento de los escritores Miguel de Cervantes y William Shakespeare en la misma fecha del año 1616.
Feliz Día del Libro a todos.

1199. Camino final…

Terminada la Semana Santa regresamos a nuestra Residencia con la ilusión puesta en terminar el curso. Cada uno de nuestros Alumnos Residentes hará un último y gran esfuerzo en conseguir los mejores resultados académicos.
Seguiremos trabajando para conseguir los objetivos académicos, deportivos y culturales que nos marcamos al inicio. De esta forma llegaremos a buen puerto en lo poco que nos queda del curso 2024-2025.
Mis mejores deseos para todos.

After Easter we returned to our Residence with the hope of finishing the course. Each of our Resident Students will make a last and great effort to achieve the best academic results.
We will continue working to achieve the academic, sports and cultural objectives that we set for ourselves at the beginning. In this way we will come to fruition in what little we have left of the 2024-2025 academic year.

1198. Silencio… se rueda

El Grupo de Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo se encuentra inmerso de lleno en la grabación de una serie de sketches que conformarán una película cómica. Una película que se estrenará en la cena de fin de curso que se celebrará próximamente.
Seguiremos informando.

The SEK-El Castillo Theater-Residence Group is fully immersed in the recording of a series of sketches that will make up a comedy film. A film that will premiere at the end-of-year dinner to be held soon.

Tal y como os informamos en las entradas 1194 y 1195, acabamos de celebrar, hoy día 29, nuestro tradicional Open Day con una mañana soleada, donde alumnos, profesores y familias han podido disfrutar de multitud de actividades.

As we informed you in entries 1194 and 1195, we have just celebrated, today the 29th, our traditional Open Day with a sunny morning, where students, teachers and families have been able to enjoy a multitude of activities.

1195. Teatro-Residencia SEK-El Castillo: “Mundo Curioso”

Tal y como anunciamos en la entrada anterior, el Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia proyectará el cortometraje de humor titulado “Mundo Curioso”. Esta proyección es una de las muchas actividades que habrá durante la jornada de puertas abiertas que celebraremos este próximo sábado 29 de marzo.

As we announced in the previous post, the Residencia Theater Group will be screening the comedy short film «Mundo Curioso.» This screening is one of the many activities taking place during the open house we’ll be holding this coming Saturday, March 29th.

1194. Vive tu Colegio. Open Day 2025

El próximo sábado 29 de Marzo, el Colegio Internacional SEK- El Castillo abre sus puertas en la, ya tradicional, celebración de su Día Abierto llamado VIVE TU COLEGIO.
Una jornada de puertas abiertas en la que se comparten con todos los alumnos, familiares y amigos, diferentes actividades educativas, culturales y recreativas que se realizan en el colegio.
El Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia proyectará la película “Mundo Curioso”. Un cortometraje de sketches, donde el humor y la ironía son los protagonistas.
Con el deseo de que disfrutéis al máximo de nuestro Colegio, les esperamos.

Next Saturday, March 29th, SEK-El Castillo International School opens its doors for its traditional Open Day, called «Live Your School.»

1191. Día Internacional de la Mujer

Como cada 8 de marzo, mañana se celebra el Día Internacional de La Mujer, también llamado Día Internacional de la Mujer trabajadora. Celebración Mundial reconocida por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, ONU. En este día se conmemora la lucha de la mujer por su participación, en igualdad con el hombre, en la sociedad y en su desarrollo íntegro como persona.
Desde este Blog, felicitamos a todas las mujeres (Directoras, Profesoras, Alumnas, Madres…) que conviven con nosotros en nuestra comunidad educativa.

As every March 8th, tomorrow is International Women’s Day, also called International Working Women’s Day. A worldwide celebration recognized by the United Nations, UN. This day commemorates women’s struggle for their participation, on an equal footing with men, in society and in their full development as a person.

El mago español Jorge Blass dirige, por 15 años consecutivos, el Festival Internacional de Magia que se celebra en el Teatro Circo Price. Los mejores magos del mundo se dan cita en la ciudad de Madrid con la intención de dejarnos boquiabiertos. Ilusionistas de distintas nacionalidades y disciplinas aunarán fuerzas para crear un show espectacular. Otro año más nos disponemos a disfrutar de un festival literalmente mágico.

1176. ¡Feliz Navidad!

Llegó la Navidad. Tiempo de darse un merecido descanso para disfrutar con familiares y amigos de tan entrañables fiestas.  Acabamos un trimestre intenso de trabajo académico, actividades deportivas, culturales… y como colofón final la Cena de Convivencia que, el pasado día 12, nos brindó CATERGEST y a los que deseo felicitar desde aquí, así como al Grupo de Teatro de la Residencia cuyo trabajo habrán podido ver en la entrada número 1173.
Retomaremos el curso, ya en 2025, con el objetivo intacto de tratar de conseguir que la Residencia sea un lugar donde lo académico, lo cultural y lo emocional se unan para lograr una formación integral en valores y convivencia.
Con el deseo de que pasen una Feliz Navidad y un Próspero Año Nuevo les mando a todos, familiares y alumnos, un afectuoso saludo.

Christmas is here. Time to take a well-deserved rest to enjoy such endearing parties with family and friends. We finished an intense quarter of academic work, sports, cultural activities… and as a final climax the Coexistence Dinner that, on the 12th, CATERGEST gave us and whom I wish to congratulate from here, as well as the Theater Group of the Residence whose work you will have been able to see in entry number 1173.
We will resume the course, already in 2025, with the intact objective of trying to make the Residence a place where the academic, the cultural and the emotional come together to achieve an integral formation in values and coexistence.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, I send an affectionate greeting to all of you, family and students.

1174. Los Reyes Magos visitan el Colegio SEK-El Castillo.

Hoy, sus Majestades los Reyes Magos han pasado por el Colegio SEK-El Castillo para recoger las cartas de los más pequeños del colegio.
Varios de nuestros alumnos residentes han tenido la suerte de que los Reyes Magos los hayan elegido cómo ayudantes, lo que ha provocado que nuestros alumnos alimenten con verdadero entusiasmo la ilusión de los más pequeños de nuestro Colegio.
Desde este blog damos las gracias a sus Majestades, los Reyes Magos de Oriente por haber contado con nosotros.

Today, Their Majesties the Three Wise Men have visited SEK-El Castillo School to collect letters from the youngest members of the school.
Several of our resident students have been lucky enough to have been chosen by the Three Wise Men as their helpers, which has caused our students to feed with true enthusiasm the hopes of the youngest members of our school.
